Sara Marie D'Eugenio was born in California and raised in Virginia. At a young age, she had a flare for the imaginary and thoroughly enjoyed anything creative.
In high school, she discovered her passion for graphic design and photography. She worked as an editor for both her newspaper and yearbook, discovering that she thrived in creative, fast-paced environments.
In 2009, she was elected Executive Editor of her university's magazine where she transformed it into an award winning publication. While in school, she continued to combine her love for media and the arts. In May 2010, she graduated Cum Laude from Virginia Commonwealth University with a major in Photography and a minor in Mass Communications.
Two months after graduating, she landed a job with Conde Nast working as a freelance designer and retoucher for SELF magazine. However after a year she decided that the call of the south was too strong and moved to Savannah, Georgia. She currently works as Art Director of South Magazine and Humane Society volunteer.
Her hobbies outside of art include biking, exploring nature, drinking coffee and watching HGTV. Her interests include blogging, the 1920s, 90s rock music and her cat Felix.
